Thanks for invitation. But I am going to submit the design normally as I shall get one day more time to complete it. I will be submitting the design. If I accept the invitation then I shall get one day less time. Thanks again.

Hi there. If you give us feedback on our designs we would be able to serve you better. Per your brief, it says you like large pictured sites and you want something uncluttered. I'm sure we are all happy to make edits, changes etc. We just need you to communicate exactly what you want further. Also, are you expecting to see designs for each page in your site? It is customary to only design the homepage first and then if you like it have your designer of choice make the requested changes for you. Let us know, we're all interested.

Hi Julie,

Thank you for seeking clarity. I can see how a simple/sleek design with large photos could lead to the sort of submissions we have had. However, nothing has really struck us quite yet so it is hard to make designers go forward with something if it does not have that initial allure. Let me check out yours again.

Thus far, it seems that there is no actual creative design beyond the various layouts of where this or that element goes. Do you know what I mean? Much of them have the same or similar generic fonts, and color schemes and so forth.

Anyhow, thanks so much and I will take a look at your submission.

Hi Ted Z,

Thanks for replying, I'm sure we are all more in tune with what you are talking about now. Please keep in mind that as designers we have to make sure that whatever we design is going to work when coded. Secondly, it is very important to use quality fonts that are going to work with your target market and are easing for viewers to read. I once worked with a client that insisted on using a script font for her entire website and while she loved it, she didn't have much traffic because nobody could read it. Especially on mobile platforms. Not discounting your need for uniqueness and creativity, just perhaps the reason why we tend to use the same set of accepted fonts in web design practice. Your website has to work for you as well as represent you. However, the feedback here helps all of us understand better what you are after so thank you. I hope to resubmit a design for your consideration.

Julie
