Resumen de Diseño de Logo

We are seeking branding to be used for a smart-phone app based on a family planning method called the TwoDay Method®, developed by the Institute for Reproductive Health (IRH) at Georgetown University. IRH is a research organization funded by USAID to conduct studies on fertility awareness-based methods of family planning. The TwoDay Method relies on the absence or presence of secretions as an indicator of fertility and was shown to be 96% effective in a clinical trial.

There are two deliverables:
• A logo using “2Day Method” (how the method will be referred to for the App)
• A small icon for the 2Day Method App for use on an iPhone or Android.

Logos submitted should be clean and simple, and incorporate 2Day and/or 2Day Method terminology. The logo should be flexible; able to sit vertically as well as horizontally (this could be two versions of the same logo, see USAID vertical and horizontal lying logos: http://www.usaid.gov/branding/downloadsweb.html). The logo will be used throughout the application, so it must be designed to be viewed in a small format, but will also be used on a website that will be developed to send users to for additional information. The icon for the smart phone screen should look similar to the logo, but adjusted for the size parameters of the icon.

The method is a natural method, so ideally the design would emote a ‘natural’ feel. Colors should be soft, although no pink.
