We need a web page design for a new homeware and accessories store based in Johannesburg, South Africa. Our store carries modern African inspired items from designers that support social development and poverty alleviation initiatives. We have a particular preference for outfits that are centred on the empowerment of women.

Our business celebrates the skill, design and product of African craft and the work of designers looking to take that forward in a socially beneficial way (creating employment, developing skills, supporting local crafts people etc). We aim to carry items and inspirations from all over the African continent.

We would like to see a design that communicates African beauty and elegance without the typical tribal references that are made in reference to African craft or art.

We would like the web page to be stylish, uncomplicated, modern, captivating and appealing to the discerning customer. A similar value proposition is that of http://www.pfeiferstudio.com/.

This is an e-commerce website which must be attractive to both individual buyers and design professionals so the website needs to look professional.

• - A featured product banner which includes a photograph and text. This should be easy to edit as we will be changing the featured product regularly
  - An easily expendable products section with categories. Examples of categories could be cushions, bedding, crockery etc. Should be easy to add new categories as well as new product pictures
  - Home/landing page should be uncluttered
  - Should use the logo and should be easy to change the logo which we have in various colour combinations. We plan to change the logo colours depending on circumstance e.g. make it red and white around Valentines day (similar to the way Google frequently changes the logo on their landing page)
