Quirky – unique for our area, both in product and store design
Cow – indicative of our area/region – lots of dairy farming and we own cows as well
Gifts – stocking average gift lines like jewellery,childrens section etc but uniqueness and where 'for a piece of kiama' comes from is that we will have local artists, makers creating one off pieces for our store, also local jams/chutneys, tea - all locally sourced.

We are not saying that our product will all be quirky (limiting our customer base)
But our product will be be unique and in most instances exclusive
One off pieces made locally
Unusual ranges for a gift shop - like loose leaf tea, local art & photography,handmade bags and childrens stuff

Logo should be:
Cow implications but definitely not a whole cow or face
Be sure that the logo represents the name, ie: Use ‘quirky’concept
eg: When it comes to colours you would use colour instead of black and white spots
Logo colours – please consider shop feel and theme – so give us what you think? Get creative!
Feel – not to indicate expensive but, the product will certainly be stylish but affordable

Our store is around alot of competition but our look is embracing the country feel and product will not be like any other store. It is set in the main street of very traditional type shopfronts.

• Ideally people should smile when they look at the logo, so a humourous side to it with a quirky feel - get creative like gumboots with a tiara on a cow print shape ...just suggesting how open we are having said that still be mindful that we dont look too weird as we have a high seniors/conservative market..
