Resumen de Diseño de aplicación (App)

We have built a Windows Phone 8 App called "The Deed Box". We need a good design for the App, from the look&feel, to the logo and splash screen, and the tiles for the App.

The objective of the application is very simple: imagine a parent who would like to register the good actions made by his/her children. When a child performs a good action he/she earns points. Each child has a balance. They can then exchange (buy) gifts/whishes using this balance. Each deed is worth points. Each gift costs points. The App also registers the events (such as birthday and christmas) for the children and registers which gifts they would like for those events.

We include the App wireframe, and all the current assets for the App. We need a proposal for the whole look&feel of the App, including:
- Logo
- Splash screen
- Tiles (small, normal front&back, wide front&back) for: main tile, user tile, predefined deed tile and event tile
- Application background
- Look & feel of each screen: lists, list items, and screen details for users, deeds, events and gifts
- Color combinations (HTML value)

The attached wireframe is just an initial approach to the design made by our developer. The proposal can change the whole layout, colors and sizes of the elements. For example, favorite deeds, in the profile detail page, are presented as a 4x2 grid with the icon of the deed and the text, this could be changed and be presented as a list instead, if the designer considers it best.

The main users of the App will be parents, but it is important for the look&feel to be oriented towards the children. Parents will show children their progress/balance and they would have to feel comfortable with the App. The children will be between 4 and 11.

Design of the items should leverage the item icon and its color (see the attached file for the icons used for each item). Item icons are png files. We don’t need design for these icons, we just want to leverage them in the design of the item in the UI.

If stock images are used as part of the design, they can be included with the watermark indicating source so they may be purchased by us for the final app.

We prefer designs that use the light theme.

For each of the assets presented before the expected results are high-res .psd files using layers, sized as indicated in the attached powerpoint file and devoid of any artifact such as noise, compression loss, etc. Where applicable vector graphics must be provided

Objetivo del mercado(s)

The App will be used by parents who would like to teach their children to do good actions. A good action can be anything defined by the parent, for example: make the bed, fix the room, help mom, be a good brother, etc.

Although the main user will be a parent (an adult), the App will also be used by children. Children will like to see what their balance is and the parent should be able to show this by showing the child profile to them. Children need to find the App intuitive to use too
