I see that you are looking for a word/text-based logo. What is the name of your company, and are there any slogans you would to use as part of the logo?

I would potentially use the slogan "Make a Scene" or "Find your Scene" or "Discover local events"

iLexter''s design is currently the closest to what i am looking for.  I think its super clean, and clever with the location marker.  I need a different colorway and am open to suggestions.
