We need a logo design for a company changing name from *** Niche Australia and**** to Niche Lighting. The business imports, markets, distributes, wholesales and retails Commercial and industrial LED lighting from Europe. (Street and factory lighting. Lighting for mines and councils, carparks and not for residential houses). Whilst other products of LED lighting will be sold within the business the main focus is the german designed European Made LED Lights.
The manufacturer has been making led lights for Mercedes, BMW and Audi for more than 10 years.
I don't want the logo to reflect their image however you will get information about the products there and the value they have.
They quite simply are the best lights available yet we don't want to say that. When you see them you know they are the best.
It is an environmentally safe product and does save energy (Power Consumption) At least 50 to 75% on average when No maintenace is factored into the equation . It is not the future in lighting it is the now. The price structure is not high and they have a very good price Quality ratio.
While I will be trying to sell to the end user most of the time I will be talking with engineers and large company ceo's and the like so it has to be very professional and not tacky. I do need this logo straight away. The change of business name has been a quick and unexpected decision.

• I have used semaphore in previous symbolism. If an an abstract design had those features it may be nice. You have open license though.
  Maybe look for inspiration from the Gods of light. Apollo, lugh etc
