is it ok if i am going to create my own text logo?

The company''s name is Tempus Nova, the slogan we have added before is A New Time. We are okay with not including the slogan and just keeping the company name. 

We need to make a decision on a new logo ASAP - so we are not looking to withdraw and receive a refund if we can find something that we really like. We need something sharp and new.

I will submit a design proposal in a few hours.
