Hi everybody,

I must admit this is my first project on designcrowd and I am positively surprised about the great quality of submissions. However, I have received designs that to 90% are very similar - they all feature olives, olive tree(s), maybe a waterfall or mountains.

Some of the designs are good enough to be named as winners already, however I would like to wait and see what other people come up with. It is just the 2nd day of 15.

If you want to try to do something different - a prominent feature of this place is not only the waterfall and the olives - the area is very well known for its abundance of snakes.

Puffadder and Cape Cobra (a regular cobra that bites, it does not spit) are the regulars and there is plenty of some. Might be nice to use this as a feature?

Hope you are having half as much fun designing as I have getting surprised by your designs!

Hi everybody,

we received some great designs already. Whatever we received was very much expected... olives, olive trees, waterfalls, mountains, snakes.

If you still want to submit a design - surprise us!

Why not having two crossed pistols or rifles, why not a skull, two crossed spades, a tractor or something provocative? If you are brave enough - we would be interested in anything that is different. However it shall feature the "Picard Waterfall Farm" text.

Everything deserves a second chance... we had already selected the winner! However, for legal reasons, the design chosen could not be selected. Thanks to REDcrackers for bringing this up!

We would like a logo that is unexpected. The logo that everybody expects shows a waterfall, a tree, olives or orchards, wines, wine bottles etc. - We liked the mountain as nobody else here uses similar graphical symbols. Again, most common are olives, trees and horses. Makes the mountain symbol easy to remember - and is realistic, because we are situated on the lower slope of a steep mountain.

What we liked about the "almost winner" was the simplicity - the logo didn't need much colour contrast to work. It works well in greyscale. The shape of the graphic elements corresponds with the shape/size of the labelling.

Maybe you can create something?
