Resumen de Diseño de Logo

We recently purchased a 47' sail boat named Silhouette (see attached photo). We like the name, and we're actually okay with the font, but we are willing to change, and would at least like to add a graphic element. We're looking to use the logo/graphic in two ways - first, potentially on the side hull of the boat to either replace what's there or append to it, and second, as a logo for use on shirts and jackets (think small, 2 inches, by 1 inch or so), etc.
