SydStart needs a logo.

What is SydStart? Check out SydStart.com
SydStart is a startup technology event held in Sydney, Australia several times a year. It attracts local startup founders and employees, investors, entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, media, incubators, bloggers amongst others who come to hear the successes and challenges related to launching and funding a startup. At SydStart, the audience listens and interacts with individual speakers and panels made of new startup founders, seasoned investors and funded startups to learn what strategies they are using to grow their business.

Logo Use: website, tshirt, social networks
We're looking for something minimalist that we can use on a website and a tshirt. If you Google "startup weekend" Google Images you can see how Startup Weekend's logo can be used standalone, with text or with customised text per city/location/event.

Colors: White on black or white on colour.
We are flexible on colors but like the red heart to capture the energy and passion of the people that live and breathe startups in the industry. Also like it to work with the new website text at sydstart.com and reproduce well on a tshirt. Suggest going for strong primary colours.

Inspiration:
One bit of inspiration I keep coming back to and really like was a NYC (as per yankees baseball team). The embroided logo features 3 overlapping letters 3 letters, which could be substituted with "SYD" (or other cities over time e.g. SG, HK, CN, MY, ID, etc) and another doing 8SX and stack them. 8sx.co is a related website we're developing.
