Hello,
A couple of questions.
Can you tell me why Maple Media is better name?
Also if you''re last designer was bad in did things in a hurry shouldn''t you just try a more professional agency.
If you fall in love with designs that are nothing like the description you provide you''re brief may be inaccurate.

Couple of general pieces of feedback.


1) The existing ("old") logo is at www.maplemedia.ca.

2) I can''t really comment on why or how I sometimes like things that I didn''t articulate in the brief.  I don''t think I''m the only client on earth that has that proclivity.  But I''ll try to add what detail I can.

3) Perhaps I should use a more professional agency rather than DesignCrowd.  But we''re here, and I''m trying it out.  So far it''s working pretty well for me.  I''m sorry if it doesn''t work very well for others.

On the designs that have been submitted thus far:

1) Having "Maple" in red and "Media" in gray or black seems to be popular, and frankly works pretty well.

2) I am gravitating more toward all caps or all lowercase.  Can''t explain why, but I''m liking those best.

3) If you can, please include the line "Your brands deserve our audience".  If you submitted before I added that, no problem.

4) The pixellation of the maple leaf has been a bit all over the map, and I''m not sure it always works.  One of the designs I really like doesn''t pixellate it at all.  Treatments where it sort of looks like the leaf is falling apart don''t look very good (one of the problems with the one at maplemedia.ca).  But the designs DO have to work in the maple leaf somewhere.  A few designs have used the leaf to replace letters, which sometimes works.  Others use it as sort of an accent or background element, which can also work.
