Are there certain colors that speak to you, the company or client base?

por Propietario del proyecto el miércoles, 29 de septiembre de 2010

There is no specific color requirement, though a color that contrasts would be good.  In that I mean, a logo that is just black and silver would be less preferable than a logo that is black (or silver) with a shot of green.

Many of our clients will have an eye for fashion, design, and creativity.  So we''re looking for something that speaks to them, yet isn''t one of them.

we''''re looking for something that speaks to them, yet isn''''t one of them. could you explain this further - sounds interesting.

Our clients are not all from the same industry.  We have clients in high-end fasion, but we also deal with furniture companies.   So, having a "fashion" logo would be a bit too specific.  Having a logo that "speaks" to both, is what we''re hoping to achieve.

Could you let us know what your perception of  a "fashion" logo is please.

doh - i mean potion ?

por Propietario del proyecto el miércoles, 13 de octubre de 2010

Yes.  An elixir was a potion/medical mixture/cure-all.  There are several variants of the definition.

True, an elixir is a potion that hides a bad tasting medicine in a sweet tasting liquid.  But the logo design can not be pharma looking.  It is not the brand we are looking for.  Our customers are fashion forward consumer brand manufacturers and retailers.  In the future we may expand our product footprint into other industries and technologies.
