Excuse me for saying that but I believe that your brief was misleading as you have chose something totally not related to that!!!
I quote from your brief "We need a fresh and fun logo that says something about photography and Australia."
So where is Australia in the logo that you have chosen???!!! And where is innovation in all that??
Disregarding my logo, I would say that there are many other good ones that are closer to your brief. And on top of that you chose an eliminated one!! lol

Dear Brandoctor, I had been in conversation directly with the designer that I have chosen and they submitted several designs including one that contained a map of Australia. I enjoy using Design Crowd and appreciate the ideas that are generated through it. Often these ideas can lead into a new and different direction.
