Summary : I have designed a new program utility called "Copycut" which is a file and folder copying program. I need a nice design for the programs main icon and also a System Tray icon animation (16x16).

Details

The Icon

The name "Copycut" is a play on the word "copycat" so it would be nice if the icon has some sort of cat theme or hint in its design. It doesn't need to be "very catty" but something tasteful. If it looks good you can also make use of the letters "CC" denoting Copycut ... I attached an embarrassing couple of pictures which I made quickly (stop laughing) just to give you an idea of what was going on in my head, but don't feel pressed to follow my exact thinking, I want to look a bit professional (not too professional). You could also play with the idea that its a copy program and make a double cat image of some kind (see 2nd example), but again that's just what I did, no obligation. But a nice "buttony" looking design i.e. not a flat looking icon would be nice (see attached picture for an example) but again that's not a must, just a thought, I'll leave it to you. I would need a copy of the original png files etc.

The System Tray Animation

I would also like a 16x16 pixel System tray animation for when the program is running in the background. (If for some reason you can't make the animation I am happy to get a set of image sequences which I can change to an animation). If it is possible to relate this icon to the main programs icon then that is best. You are not obligated to copy the main icon, especially if the main icon won't look good small, but it should have a feature that relates to the program e.g. if you have designed a cat hint then try it in the animation (that would be nice) or a have a CC if that looks better ... The animation itself can be anything you like, from either a moving bit in the icon (so long as it is noticeable) or the icon picture disappearing and reappearing slowly, to maybe it starting clear and filling with a colour then going back to clear, or anything else you like.
