We are an online lighting retailer. We're looking for a new business card and letterhead design.
The design should be simple but fun and it should use the colours of our logo and/or website design.
the letterhead and business card should be provided in Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop so that we can edit the text (i.e. put in our own employee details)

Hi,
Thank you all for your design submissions. However, the brief calls for stationary design including a letterhead and business card design. So far, all the submissions have only shown a business card design. In my opinion, the letterhead is far more important. It will be seen by more people (all of our customers) as we will be using the letterhead to print out tax invoices to be posted with the goods to our customers. The business card will be used infrequently at trade shows and when canvasing new suppliers and partners.
We can not make a decision without first seeing the letterhead layout.
Also, we have not yet seen any submissions that use the colours from our website (which includes a blue) as opposed to just using the colours form the logo. We are quite curios to see if the website colours could be "imported" into our company branding or whether they are better left on the site.

Hi again,
I've also noticed that all the designs submitted so far use the exact wording on the business card that is in the brief e.g. "Work Phone: 1300 858 360"
Please note that it is not mandatory or even expected that you use the wording exactly as it appears in the brief. It's just mandatory that that information is on the business card somewhere. so, for example, please feel free to play around with icons instead of the word "Phone" or just use "P". please feel free to explore all the design aspects - you just need to make sure that the phone fax and email details are on there somewhere.
