Resumen de Diseño de Logo

We are a start-up company developing a novel technology for storing renewable energy from wind and solar. The core of the technology is a chemical process that converts electricity into methane, the principal component of natural gas. The chemical reaction is mediated by a biological catalyst.

The logo we need is for a technology demonstration project (not the company!) referred to as "BioCat" (from biological catalysis). While we have no strict design guidelines, the use of the colors green and blue seems appropriate given our field (renewable energy) and would be in line with our current corporate identity. That being said, we're open to other colors mixed in as well, and our CI is about to receive an overhaul in the near-term anyway. The image to be conveyed should include innovative, fast/agile, cutting/edge, out of the ordinary, and perhaps scientific.

Hi All,

Thanks for the submissions so far. I just increased the budget for the job from EUR 260 to EUR 360. 

I would like to see some designs that play with the "Cat" in BioCat. I'm thinking of a head of a lion or a leopard, or the silhouette of a black panther. One outstanding feature of our technology is that it's fast, dynamic and responsive. A black panther or any other "large cat" embodies these values quite superbly.

Hi designers, thanks for submitting many ideas with a cat (leopard/black panther). We would like to see some more ideas without a cat, in which a graphic symbol stands freely from the text. This symbol could signify "conversion" or "transformation" or "storage", which is what our technology does in the end. Other attributes like fast, dynamic, responsive should also be conveyed.
