Resumen de Diseño de Logo
Sustained Dialogue - We are looking for a logo!
We have a 40 year history of bringing dialogue programs to campuses, workplaces, and government organizations. Here is the language we use to describe ourselves:
A World in which a Culture of Dialogue Prevails
The Sustained Dialogue Institute envisions a world in which a culture of dialogue enables people to coexist peacefully, justly, and productively.
We Build Constructive Relationships through Sustained Dialogue®
SDI promotes the Sustained Dialogue System around the world to develop everyday leaders with the capacity to transform differences into strong relationships that are essential to effective decision-making, democratic governance, economic development, and peace.
Our country and our world are deeply divided. Too many people have lost the capacity or the will to listen thoughtfully, to talk respectfully, and to relate constructively. The greatest untapped resources for meeting the world’s challenges are the energies and capacities of citizens outside government. The challenge is to build relationships through dialogue in which citizens can discover their capacity to design change and to shape their future together.
Here is what we would like to see in a design:
Yes:
Dignified, global organization, but also dynamic, active, on the move
Featuring colors in the attached palate
No:
Globes (if you can do something interesting and new with a globe, ok, but please not the usual “globe motifs” that are commonly seen in logos)
No speech bubbles or other lightweight images denoting dialogue
No hands reaching out to touch one another, handshake motifs, etc.
Text:
We are undecided as to whether we want text to appear in the logo or not. Please feel free to include text in your design or not, and we will modify accordingly through the feedback process. Thank you!
