I need a logo design for a new company called 'Taste Wine Academy'. With emphasis on the word 'Taste'. It is important to be contemporary in style( but not uber-fashionable) with the dual implication of 'good taste/style' as well as tasting wine. I would like to be portrayed as professional in knowledge and standards but informal in style.
The target consumer is threefold.
1) Private customers 30+ looking for educational courses and/or event ideas.
2) Corporate clients looking for event/ entertaining ideas.
3) Wine/hospitality industry members seeking educational courses for staff.
Please consider the use of abstract graphics, vector and organic.
Background:
Many wine tasting events are offered with a bias toward a sales result. I offer a more relaxed and innovative approach where the client pays for expertise and entertainment.
Most wine education presents as traditional and school-like. I offer every bit as much expertise, but where learning is a by-product of a fun event.
I specifically DONT want a logo using the image of grapes or a mortarboard.
Addition to brief:
I would like to see one of two designs.
1) A wine rack design, looking head on at the ends of the bottles, with the word 'Taste' spelled out by the position of the bottles. Beneath in a single line the words 'wine academy' same width as the wine rack.
2) The word 'Taste' in a contemporary, prominent font.
Beneath, the words 'wine academy', smaller font to the same width as the word taste.
Atop, three images of: a Champagne cork, a regular cork and a screw cap positioned at angles. The outline, collectively, forming a semi-circle or a pointed dome.
I hope that makes sense.
I will attempt to give quick feedback if above description is confusing.

I have discussed my likes and dislikes with a friend in the advertising industry who, having listened to my comments on the designs has suggested I should be asking you all to use abstract graphics, vector and organic. I hope this helps. Otherwise the design brief remains the same.
