Boys Camp Thrift Stores are built on the mission to give our community the opportunity to help boys and their families gain a new outlook on life. The goal of this business is to provide quality, used goods at reasonable prices. Utilizing a staff team committed to a standard of excellence, donations provided by those willing to make a difference are processed quickly and efficiently. Clean, well-organized, and easy to shop stores provide a pleasant shopping experience to a large and diverse target market. All profits are used to operate Fair Play Camp School. The mission of Camp is to show God’s love to boys and their families in a therapeutic camping environment, while equipping them with vital skills for successful living. Families needing hope and encouragement find it in the calm and peaceful wilderness setting. Boys needing help changing their attitudes and behaviors find it through positive relationships built with peers and a committed team of staff. Customers searching for great deals and bargains find them at Boys Camp Thrift Stores. Together, we all make a difference!
Fair Play Camp School is a nonprofit organization created as a mission to serve troubled boys needing help overcoming difficult emotion issues. Today, this organization stays true to its original vision of showing God’s love to boys and their families in a therapeutic camping environment. Camp was built on partnerships from the beginning. As with any such organization, sufficient funding is a typical problem that needs to be solved. In 1990, the first Boys Camp Thrift Store was opened in the nearby town of Westminster, SC. Several years later a second store was started in Seneca, SC. The mission of these stores is an extension of the relationships and partnership that has been a part of Camp from the very beginning. These stores give the community an opportunity to be partners in helping troubled boys find their way in life. Donations are processed and resold. The profit of the stores is a key part of Camp’s annual budget. Today, these stores continue to discover new ways to provide the product that the target market is seeking.
We would like a new and attractive logo that is simple but unique. The logo for Fair Play Camp School is a well recognized logo in our state. We would like to see the sunburst incorporated into the logo in some way. The logo for the Thrift Store does not need to say anything about Camp. It should have the sunburst and the lower eastside font in it somehow.
