Resumen de Diseño de Logo
I need a logo designed for the MonoTizen product (http://monotizen.wordpress.com/2014/05/21/announcing-monotizen-project/). That posting shows the logos for Mono and Tizen (the two things which this product is "bridging").
The logo needs to be cartoon monkey themed. I've been using this for the time being - http://free.clipartof.com/76-Free-Cute-Cartoon-Monkey-Clipart-Illustration.jpg.
Everything related to the Mono project is monkey-themed, but their logo is not very cute, and I don't want to have a "serious monkey" like that. I want it to be fun, like the example above.
HOWEVER, I think it is very important to somehow add the flavor of the Tizen windmill/gear/swirl logo into the mix, so it's a clear blend of Mono monkey and Tizen swirl. We also need to be wary of not impinging on Tizen or Mono copyright.
So, fun cartoony monkey combined with swirliness in some form which evokes Tizen.

Thanks to everybody who participated in the MonoTizen logo challenge.
This was my first project on designcrowd, and I must say that I was floored by how easy it was to pitch an idea, get proposals back, create a poll, iterate on specific ideas, etc.
The quality of entries was great, and I am so happy with the result. It's a real shame to leave some of the other strong entries "on the cutting room floor", but that's the way it goes.
You guys are awesome. Keep up the good work. I KNOW that I will be back, with more logo design projects for future products. Best wishes!
