MULTIPLE WINNERS. We look to carry out a competition that is fair, predictable as to winning entries and highly rewarding for those that manage to meet the visual quality requirements as well as the administrative aspects detailed below. Note that we hope to select multiple winning entries each receiving 100 dollars / entry.

Please keep an eye on the comments for this competition as we’ll try to give additional info there as entries come in and we see how we can possibly clarify the instructions further.


We look to get additional images for use in our communication alongside the one we already have, here called the template image. The compositions need to hold a level of quality comparable to the one in the template image and they should incorporate as many as possible of the key properties found in it:
- Depict one or multiple players on the specific sport’s pitch or natural setting
- No heads/faces (unless they are so far in the background that you can’t quite make them out)
- Action filled, bullet-time-like photography
- A “natural” fade to black in the bottom of the image

All photos that you used in the compositions you create need to be specified and a tally of the fees for licensing those photos for this purpose needs to be enclosed with the entry. A composition that is based on photos which licensing fees tally a very high cost cannot be chosen as winners even though they might meet all other criteria. If you choose to use your own photographs or create photo-realistic imagery in 3D software, we expect that to be covered by prize money.

We will accept entries where the watermarks from the original photos are still in the composition and if the entry is selected as a winner, the participant will need to supply us with a clean version in the correct resolution once we've purchased the rights and supplied the participants with the high-resolution, non-watermmarked versions of the photos.

The composition needs to be delivered with the exact size 2462 × 1012 pixels. The photos need to depict sports from the list below. The one with asterisks are a priority but you should disregard this priority if the quality of the photos you find are much better for some of the other sports.
