PhysicianScout is a joint venture between Statistical HR (www.statisticalhr.com ) and Dr. Steve Berkowitz (http://www.smbhealthconsulting.com ) for form a state of the art physician recruiting firm. The key differentiator is the use of a custom algorithm that incorporates big data into the recruiting process to identify physicians that exactly fit not only the hospitals’ skills requirements, but their unique company culture.

The term “scout” is used because the recruiting process is very similar to how professional athletes are evaluated before being drafted. This process utilizes hundreds of data variables, psychological assessments, and multiple behavioral interviews.
