Resumen de Diseño de Logo

We need a logo for our company, currently called Perth Sedation Dentistry (with a by-line 'implant, surgical & sedation dentistry) - see www.perthsedationdentistry.com. Basically we want the new logo/name to encompass our services more fully by the extended name. "Perth" does not need to be prominent in the logo at all. We would like an icon that describes these services in a tasteful way - something professional (as we get professional doctor referrals) as well as customer-friendly. We want to avoid cartoons of a tooth with a smile or corny/basic ideas like that, as our practice is more high-end and niche. Something that depicts sedation/sleep could use an icon that 'fades away' whilst incorporating the idea of smile/rejuvenation/empowerment (as many of our patients have life changing treatments) and a dental implant. All of the ideas don't need to be crammed into the logo, we are open to new ideas. I imagine something text-based (as it is a long name) with a simple icon to set it off. "Implant" and "Sedation" are the main words and "Surgical" can be less bold. "Perth" can be small and almost obsolete, to avoid too much text.

I'm imagining a layout like:
perth | Implant, Surgical
icon | & Sedation Dentistry

I've started to lean more towards the idea of waves being incorporated, as they are calming, signify sleep and relaxation, as well as the human pulse being monitored (ie. sedation). I'm thinking more to have that as the feature, with the idea of the dental implant being more abstract, perhaps incorporated into the waves as a different colour (as the curved threads of the dental implant could be short waves and the top (crown) could be a lighter wave emerging from the top.
