I have added some competitor brands that are well established products within the consumer cleaning and hygiene category. I thought this might help the creative process.
My client is a successful supplier of hygiene products to medical and dental fields in Australia/NZ with manufacturing and distribution expansion occurring in Asia. We are taking our established commercial products and developing a consumer range. We need an overarching logo to bring the different existing brands included in these products together. The brand name for the suite of products is called ProHomeCare. We plan to keep all of the current logos of existing products to avoid major costs of changing labelling over and creating a different logo to the current. This will impact our efficiencies when packaging our goods and is not required. The brands in the current suite are (I have attached logo for reference) Clinicare, Handicare, PlaqPro. The logo we are seeking should tie each of these products together and present a logical and legible connection to the existing and will be used on our current labelling. One key element of the current branding is the colour key. The colour is shown in the graphic that circles the word mark and should be interpreted as follows: Clinicare Range - Blue = Alcohol based antibacterial; Green = Hospital Grade Disinfectant; Pink = Neutral Detergent. For the handicare range - Green = handwash; Red = Barrier Cream; Purple = Moisturiser. So it may be that these colours are referenced in some way in order to tie things together, or the elliptical vector graphic could also be referenced. We probably prefer something completely different that is not out of synch with the industry we are in or our target market which is the family member most likely to make the domestic hygiene decisions. It is also very important that it is clear these products are Australian owned and made. I Have attached that logo for reference. The manufacturer of these products, Dentalife Pty Ltd was previously the overall brand owner, but we are moving away from this due to it's strong connection to the Dental industry alone.
