Logo for a group of 3 retreat givers who are combining to offer retreats/experiences on Scriptural themes in the UK which go beyond the normal fairly dry and cerebral stuff to be lively and creative, with a mix of learning styles.

Meet the Scriptures is an ecumenical group, with a passion for the Bible from both academic and faith perspectives. After several years of leading study retreats for and alongside a broad cross-section of people, we are now offering sessions adapted for your own group, centre, or institution.

We balance spiritual and historical approaches, seeking to deepen participants' engagement with the biblical text. You will be challenged, encouraged, and respected – whatever your level of knowledge or church background – through a mix of taught sessions, group discussion, reflective prayer, and creative response. We can adapt to meet your requirements in terms of group size, subject, and delivery. Single day experiences are possible.

• The Histories
• The Prophets
• The Gospels
• St Paul's Journeys and Letters
• Revelation
If your desired theme is not shown, please ask; we have too many to list in one small advertisement.

MTS members hold qualifications in biblical studies, theology, literature, and education. Your event will not, however, feel like a lecture. An informal and interactive style helps retreatants to seek, question, and explore – both individually and as a group – and there is no exam at the end!
