Overall concept of our new website:
WeUnite allows people to follow their passions. You are not following your friends, colleagues, celebrities, as you do with Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn....you are following people who have the same passion as you. Eg. If you are a keen cyclist, you will be sharing with others just like you, who share your passion.

The brief:
We have a gamification element to the site, where we award members, 'medals' for various achievements. This is what needs to be designed - the concept of the medals.

• The difficulty of this brief is to create 'medals' which highlight what the medal is for, yet also demonstrate that the medals form part of a theme (there are four themes). so for example, all the medals in the 'Popular' theme could use a certain colour, to show it belongs to that theme. Or a shape?
