Resumen de Diseño de Logo
PVDT stands for Pura Vida Dream Team. We are a tourist advisory and accessory company in Costa Rica. Our mission and value is to help the tourists embrace the Pura Vida (lifestyle, serenity, peace) during their stay and hopefully leave them wanting more. In providing this service to tourists, we also intend to create jobs and improve the quality of life for the local Ticos in Costa Rica.
We have a website: www.pvdt.com which is just getting started.
Our logo so far was inspired by the number 7. And we're excited about the "pinwheel" look of placing them in a circle. I'd rather the 7 not be as "literal" as we have it in some of the examples so far.
In general, some key words we'd like our brand to represent include: team, harmony, gracious, smooth, vibrant.

Project Deadline Extended
Reason: The design team/owners of the business cannot agree on which design to move forward with. We are really pleased with what has been done so far, but are going to make some edits to our original post and give it another week.
We are grateful for all the submissions and hope many will stick with us for another round.

Hello designers,
PVDT wants you to know that we have extended the deadline by 1 week. We've learned a lot from this already, and have more focus and direction for you.
1) Two more images have been uploaded to the post. A sample turtle and diamond. We are committed to moving forward with one of these two "characters".
2) We've reduced the colors to green, purple and blue. The design does not need to have all.
3) The font should be in be the Sans Serif family

Hello designers,
We are excited about what you've come back with already. the turtle outline is really connecting. and we've started to see some of you incorporate the diamond design into the shell of the turtle. We're getting closer by the day :)
The design team has agreed on the following elements:
- a blue/green color as the primary color in the design.
- a round shell (ideally a circle)
- round/soft arms, legs and head for the turtle
- placement and specific text to be included (see below)
The design team is split between keeping the pinwheel vs the diamond concept in the shell. We need to see more diamonds before we decide. In order to find the best compromise we are hopeful that within the diamond design a somewhat literal or abstract set of 7's can be accentuated.
Another image was uploaded to the submission. This is a near perfect example of what we'd like to see for the text along side the logo. The "wave" in the image is 3 colors. This is not necessary. one or two colors is plenty. we are more conscious now about the need to effectively print these in black and white (or green and white, etc).
