Resumen de Diseño de Logo

I am designing a customized solutions (in Access / Excel / Web) to enable a company to view their financial results and produce a financial forecast based on various inputs, calculations, etc.
The tool that I am trying to develop will be web-based and is attempting to do exactly that, it will be flexible enough to be quickly adaptable to any specific industry. I want a logo that shows this business is about Forging into the future , subtle classy but invokes future direction , intelligence, strong , firm and always evolving ahead of the game so to speak. I prefer the cloud Blue like Facebook blue as its a strong business colour but I like complimentary oranges/reds as this compliments the idea of forging .

I have added a generic logo I like . would like some red in it, and the arrow to me signifies forge or forging ahead but would like it more 3d isn so it shows its forging through the current market into a new tomorrow on a global scale .
