Resumen de Diseño de Logo

my company is called "Decade Nine" - there's no meaning to this, really. our website is http://www.d9.com/

we are an ISV (independent software vendor) we design and build software products that help people manage unstructured information better, both locally (e.g. MS Word documents) and on the internet.

as an example of one of our products, take a look at http://www.websheet.biz/ - this helps people capture information from web services, social networks and online databases.

we've been around for a while, but are looking to bootstrap ourselves into the 21st century with a new logo that says: advanced, social media, clever, cool.

I don't really have any other guidelines other than "better than what we have" - you can see on our website now is pretty stark.

I've uploaded a couple of examples of our old logo which is a bit of a play on the "d" and the "9" - both with and without the "decade nine" name.

as you can see pretty boring....

I'm happy to emphasise the "d9.com" or just "d9" as opposed to "decade nine" but I'm open to suggestions.
