You've mentioned for PSD files, however, since I am working on as a vector file so it will be an .AI file. Will that be acceptable? It will be better for printing as well.

I just posted the first versions of my design. I hope you and your team will like them. Anyway, I have a question for you:

the sponsor file you uploaded on the website is at 72 dpi. The poster you requested is very big, so I was worrying if you have a bigger version of the sponsor block.
Normally when I design such a big poster, I work on file with a resolution of at least 150 dpi (in this case when you print the poster you don't have any "grain" or "noise" effects on the colors). Because of this reason, if I use the actual file the sponsor block would be about 1hx13w cm. Of course, it would be almost invisible on a (not so) long distance!
