Resumen de Diseño de Logo
The UD Sustainability Club is hosting a Sustainability Summit and Sustainability Week to provide students and community members from the Greater Miami Valley with the opportunity to learn about the social, economic, and environmental challenges to achieving a more sustainable society as well as celebrate the improvements being made at our very own campus. The themes for the coming Summit are the Responsible Generation and Usage of Energy and Sustainable Food Systems. The specific tracks change each year and could include water conservation, GMOs, energy, and waste management among other things. Take a look at our site to learn more about the Summit and the Week leading up to it. The logo will be used to represent the Summit and the Sustainability Week on newsletters, ads, our website, etc... The design should most likely include earthy colors (greens, browns, and blues - but don't feel too limited) and communicate a passion for sustainability. The logo will most likely be placed to the side of text saying either the Sustainability Summit or Sustainability Week, so text is not needed in the logo design unless you have a creative way to include the text in the logo without making it look to cluttered.

Actualizaciones
A quick update. With less than five days to go, currently four unique designs are under consideration for selection. If you have concepts that you feel good about, please submit them prior to Friday, and I will do my best to provide feedback if any changes or tweaks are necessary. The competition will end on Friday, and then the designs will be shown to the team behind the planning of the Sustainability Week and the Sustainability Summit. Shortly thereafter, a decision will be made on which design to pursue and if any tweaks to the design are necessary. Thanks and good luck.

- Must embody a sense of sustainability and connection to one or any of the potential tracks or overall theme to the sustainability summit. Designs and art styles I like are included as pictures. The red and blue go green tree is our current logo, which is the design that we are changing.
Agradable de tener
- Creative incorporation of the phrases "Sustainability Summit" or "Sustainability Week" are nice but not necessary. I'd rather have a logo that can stand alone or beside the words. Also prefer earthy colors for the logo to fit the overall theme. Also, if the text is not included directly into the logo, please include an image with and without the text.
