Thanks for your question.

The general feel is one that I am happy with. What I need is for someone to create a more polished artwork.

My primary objective is to get the word 'River' drawn so that all the letters are well balanced and the letter-forms flow more comfortably into one another (ie no awkward shapes and pointed curves).

I would be interested to see suggestions of woodcut/etching in the shading if possible so that the logo works in one colour - positive or reversed.
