I would be interested in a completely different type of design, as if I did not send sample packaging. Please be creative. Please keep the following ideas in mind. * I am interested in utilizing Seateak logo, the picture of the item, and the name of the item. * I am interested in a see-through window in front (no plastic), so consumer can see and touch wood. * I believe the packaging has to be brown, in order to simulate the message of the type of product (teak wood), but if you have other ideas, please let me know. * I believe there may be too much of a "tree" image. I believe there should be some reference to the teak tree, but would like to rely on the graphic designer to come up with some ideas * Seateak's heritage is as a material used to build ship and boat decking. Without showing the image of a boat, I would like to somehow convey graphically how durable and "seaworthy" this product is.

I have been trying to think of a unique way to design a box for Seateak that would represent the nautical heritage and durability of the wood, while still appealing to possible household and hardware retailers (e.g. Bed Bath & Beyond and Ace Hardware – both of who want teak accessories in their stores). In other words, I am trying to avoid putting pictures of “boats” or “waves” on the packaging. Therefore, I have this idea. Teak and Holly designs have been the traditional way that large ships would build their decking. Therefore, maybe this image can serve as the background of the entire package. Do a search for teak and holly. There is a teak and light holly option, along with a teak and dark holly option. This might look good as a “Subtle” background.
