Resumen de Diseño Gráfico

We need to create a brand for our new business 'Breadcrumb Digital'. Please read the brief below before progressing as we are looking for some quite specific outputs.

Background

We are positioning ourselves as ‘marketing technologists’ - we're helping businesses engage with their customers in the online space.

Our tactics include branding, marketing, online management, and social media, however we are differentiating ourselves by focusing on overall strategy, not just tactics. Our tagline is ‘Online made simple’.

We have stipulated some parameters for the brand but otherwise want designers to exercise their creativity.

Look and feel

Our look and feel must:
• be clean and contemporary
• not feel masculine
• feature us and demonstrate our casual-professional approach
• be stylish without being overly slick
• feature a stamp-like icon (that accompanies the logo) we can thread through the design (such as a bird, but not necessarily a bird).

White should be used as the background colour as we want a clean and modern look. We want one bold primary colour and the rest secondary or tertiary. We would like to see concepts using these alternative palettes.

• http://www.nelsoncash.com/about - photography featuring staff
• http://playgroundinc.com – icon and overall design feel
• http://huestudios.com/marketing/ - use of coloured font to highlight key phrases
• www.untitledlondon.com/what-untitled-does.aspx - pigeon icon threaded through the site.

Outputs

We want to receive mock-ups (similar to an A4 portrait advertisement) featuring:
• a logo and accompanying stamp-like icon
• headline and body text (please use lorem ipsum or other placeholder text)
• a placeholder photograph demonstrating photographic style.

The purpose of this exercise is to ascertain how well the individual elements complement each other.

We're keen to develop the winning design into a full suite of materials.
