Resumen de Diseño de Logo
We are an investment company with the name Birchwood Lodge, Inc. No need for name in logo as we will put our name elsewhere on our printed materials. Given the name Birchwood Lodge, our location in a mountainous area, and our former operation of a resort, we have the following idea: mountains in the background, a rustic but nice looking "lodge" building in the center, and birch trees (or forest with some birch trees) on the two sides. The lodge building should not look like a tiny cabin or shack, as it should show the "solidity" of our company. We will be using this logo on white background in printing business cards, letterhead, and envelopes, so would like color. For the logo, it should look good in a 1.5" wide by 1.0" high space on the business card. Elsewhere it will be this size or bigger.
Note that while these are our ideas, feel free to be creative!
Actualizaciones
To all designers: Thank you for your efforts so far. None of the designs is what I have in mind yet. There are a couple that are close, and I will let those designers know that directly. If you would like to modify or try again, here are some thoughts to help you. I prefer:
1. no border around the design.
2. the images of the design creating their own rough outline, not a rectangle
3. No colored rectangle behind the image
4. that the properties allow me to use it for a 1.5" wide and 1" high image on a business card (those proportions).
5. that the "lodge" be rustic but substantial, more like a many room hunting lodge or resort, not a single family dwelling or a simple cottage.
6. In general I did not want our name in the logo, although there is one that looked really good that way!
7. smaller mountains, not alps or Rocky Mountain size mountains, as our mountains are smaller.
8. multicolored art, not single color
9. art that looks detailed and unique, avoiding a logo that looks like several simple images pasted together.
