Resumen de Diseño de Logo
We urgently need a logo design for a new brand of hair salon that will also have a highly usable online shopping portal in London's cool, trendy, funky and edgy East End (Spitalfields).
LukeJacob will be a full-service boutique beauty salon dedicated to consistently providing high customer satisfaction by rendering excellent service, quality products, and furnishing an enjoyable boutique atmosphere at an acceptable price/value relationship. Our excellent hair and beauty products will developed and labelled with this logo too.
LukeJacob will ideally use a word mark logo and letter mark logo together. Keeping the "L" and "J" in upper case with no spacing between names so it forms one word - LukeJacob. The "L" and "J" can then be developed as an abbreviation logo itself alongside, above or below the wording. Both these "LJ" and "LukeJacob" wordmark logos must also act as stand-alone logos that will be placed on product labels and staff badges as well as being strategically placed around the store.
The initial colour brief is simple 2 tone. Light/pale/dusty blue and brown. Lettering and logo coloured one, and highlighted by the other. Perhaps gold can be inserted or embossed to add high end connotations.
Font and styling must be glamorous/high quality. Think Boutique Hotels, high end designer fashion, opulent, baroque and elegance. But this must still allow for functionality, be reasonably simple to reproduce, cool and fashionable.
PLEASE NOTE; Logo has to appeal to a unisex market. Do not over feminize the design as we do not want to alienate 50% of the potential market.

Reason: We have had some good quality designs submitted and our confident about the work coming to us from Design Crowd designers. We have strong candidates but want to be certain as this is the logo to launch the brand. We have now guaranteed the prize money for the project and extended the deadline into next week to be certain and attract any last minute submissions.
