I have a question about your statement: "Somehow incorporating English language facts such as "26" (letters) or vowels "a e i o u".

I don't understand what this means or how you want it incorporated into the logo. Can you please explain more details?

Thanks for your time

Fellow Designers: I don't think I'm the right designer for this project, but the buyer did very much like my choice of color palette. I used black and white with gold, dark blue and dark red (in CMYK). The golds I used varied from 0-30-90-30 to 0-15-45-15 (all with a 0:1:3:1 ratio). Dark Blue, 100-85-25-25; and Dark Red, 25-100-100-25. Buyer did NOT like my font choice (Myriad). Also, buyer provided constructive feedback in a very timely manner. Hope this helps.

My apologies. I agree that I was very vague. What I meant was this (just ideas):

I'd like there to be something "special / different / mysterious" about the logo. I find it a little too perfectly symmetrical.

Imagine if embossed somewhere on the shield was a XXVI? Then people might get the reference.

Forget about the "aeiou". Again, I was just brainstorming.

As for the font - I really don't care much about the font of the "Manakuni" as that can be easily changed. The big serif M on the shield was what I was referring to. Maybe it could be smaller and look more as if it's a part of the shield.

I like your concept in general. I just think that it might be made just a little more distinctive.

Finally, I apologize if I caused offense. I did not mean to do that. Even as a (design challenged) software guy I can tell you easily have what it takes to complete this.

Olivia

thank you so much for your suggestions its so rare to see someone share information like that. I was actually thinking of using green, blue and gold or some diffused yellow. The targeted audience is partial to full bodied reds and bright yellow's except yellow doesn't always look good on white backgrounds I'll have to play around. Thank you again.

Please have a look at my design proposal. Let me know if you would like me to add / change anything in the design, or if you would like me to try something different. Remember you can request as many revisions as you need.

The logo is very flexible and can be used in full color or black and white.
