Peregrine Advisors Ltd – Corporate Identity/Logo Design Brief July 24, 2014

Project Overview:
We seek an updated corporate identity/logo to support our value proposition.

Desired end result: visitors/clients have the impression of a company that is professional, experienced, practical, smart and effective, while also being approachable.

Project deliverables:
1) Logo design – Peregrine Advisors
2) Adapted for use on letterhead, powerpoint template
- For use on:
o Websites (such as Peregrine site, LinkedIn, email signature, etc.)

- Need one version to include company name, one version with graphics only

Design comments:
Peregrine Advisors is a boutique marketing strategy firm named for the Peregrine falcon. This is one of the fastest creatures in the world and has remarkable eyesight.
- The qualities that we believe transfer to our business are the Peregrine’s ability to soar high (getting a broad picture of the situation), keen eyesight (to spot opportunities) and great speed (to complete assignments quickly).
- So, desired message: smart, practical, experienced, current, contemporary, friendly
- NOT: huge consulting firm or casual mom-and-pop operation
- NOT: stodgy/old/arrogant or ultra modern; NOT: old-school, theoretical, boring
- We do not have a corporate font or color scheme selected.
o Colors could include natural coloring of Peregrine falcon (middle logo below)
o Colors should be businesslike but not too boring
- We will want to keep some form of the Peregrine falcon in the logo

Company overview:
Peregrine Advisors is a 2-year old boutique consulting firm that provides strategic guidance to marketers of goods and services, to enable them to better understand, reach and motivate their key consumers. The core of Peregrine’s go-to-market approach is an understanding of the needs of the ultimate customer, combined with recommendations on how the client can drive business by better meeting those needs.
- Audience is business professionals – from large and small companies
