Maybe you need to take a moment and revise your brief.

We are narrowing in.  The brief is what we want.  The difficulty we have found is that designers find it hard to stray from their first submission. So we have had to wait on new submissions, whilst trying to provide feedback that inspires alternate designs to what we mightn''t have liked.
