Resumen de Diseño de Logo

We need a logo for Gecko Interactive, a new company specialising in the development of apps for mobile devices. The first app will be a messaging / social networking app for Android devices. Other types of apps and mobile platforms might be considered for future projects, so the logo should not be restricted to Android.

We want to communicate that our apps are innovative, polished and fun to use.

Proportionally, the logo should be wider than it is tall, suitable for displaying in the header of a website without occupying too much vertical space.

A pictorial component (of a gecko) is optional. Not sure if I want this or not.

Update: most of the designs submitted so far have been
green. Could I see some other examples too please
(including some multi-coloured designs).
