Resumen de Diseño Web

- This is for a layout design of the home page only. No coding required.

- The design should be based around the attached HPID (home page information design) I've attached both a Word.doc and a PDF - these are the same. The table boxes are just for approximate placement of information – you DON'T have to make it look exactly like this. Information for you is in orange text. Words to go on the design in black text. Most instructions are in the HPID. The only change to the HPID is you can use either the white or grey background logo in the header.

- The design needs to be smart and the colours soft/subtle – lots of space with mainly white and soft grey colours… with just accents/splashes of a soft blue (code: PMS 647) or gold. If you wish to tone down the colours in the photos supplied you could try a design doing this… please don’t all try this! Maybe you could try an MJE watermark from their logo somewhere on the design. Please be creative.

Width of content will be 1100 pixels when implemented as a web page. Header height (without nav bar) 150-160 pixels.

The winning PSD file will have to be provided as follows…
1. Canvas size of 2000px x 2000px - 72ppi in Adobe Photoshop (CS5 compatible)
2. Width of content section is 1100px wide - centered in the canvas
3. Any button rollovers/hovers in the PSD as hidden layers.
4. All fonts used must be Google fonts (except for the header fonts).
5. You will need to supply the chosen home page plus one example page (example page as a style guide for how all other pages will look). Example page is only the header and navigational bar at the top, an empty sector in the middle with a column (180 px wide) which can be left or right aligned which means the main sector is 920 pixels wide, and then the footer at the bottom of the page.
