I am launching a professional/social media networking website called DrivingDiversity which raises awareness of Diversity topics that impact professional, education and social communities. The Diversity initiative targets gender, age, disability, sexual orientation, race and ethnicity.

I expect the majority of customers will be professional women aged 18-65 across all industries. This brand is designed to empower, support and promote those people under represented across the specified diversity groups. It will appeal to those looking to improve both their professional & personal lives. This will be a platform or organisations to promote themselves on the website, therefore, this must be a high quality professional looking site.

I am looking for a website that is professional, positive and has impact. This project is for the design and coding of the website. I have an idea what I want to see but also open to creative design on presentation of items, various pages and flow.

The coding will consist of making the design function (not just pretty pictures). We would be looking to have the winner work with us on a going forward basis for website design changes, tweaks or modifications (paid of course). Please be honest with regards to programming/coding experience and skills as the functionality/ease of this website is essential to its success.

Key Objectives
•Build brand awareness and assist in providing synergy with all key marketing strategies.
•Create a fresh and compelling website design reflecting what the business stands for it will also be user-friendly, build the company’s corporate image and appeal to defined target markets.
•Generate search engine compatibility by optimizing the site for all the major search engines.
•Integrate a custom Content Management System (CMS) to ensure all updates can be made with ease, improving operational efficiency and reducing time to market with critical information.
•Social media implantation, to create social awareness and increase repeat visitors to the site

This website will have a bit of a LinkedIn style functionality. http://www.businesschicks.com.au is another good example of the type of functionality I’m looking for. I understand that the functionality will need to be adapted and increased overtime; however, I am looking for the following minimal features:

I am looking for the home page to be something different with more of a wow factor and something different to the standard page link menu across the top of the screen.

For the home page I am looking for something a little more striking with a visual impact.
