We would like to revise our logo for our website called Degree Bucket. Degree Bucket is the trusted online destination for those on the quest to achieve their scholastic, personal and professional goals.
Degree Bucket is inspired by the lack of resources for consumers seeking knowledge and help in their educational and career quest. We feel that the marketplace is fragmented and no one is taking consumers from cradle to grave on their educational and professional path. Their goal is to build a friendly, accessible community that offers the consumer a safe place to explore all of their career and scholastic options and encourages them to stay connected to this community and eventually give back.
The desired path for the Degree Bucket (DB) consumer is as follows:
1. Use DB to find a career
2. Watch videos/gather information through DB about marketplace trends, career choice and it’s path.
3. Through DB explore educational institution options.
4. Connect to an institution
5. Refer back to DB for tips and resources at various stages of academic career
6. Post graduation refer back to DB for marketplace trends and to get involved.
Degree Bucket distinguishes itself by being a destination for the consumer. One-stop-shopping for those on the quest to improve their lives. Think of Degree Bucket as your Online Guidance Counselor.
TARGET AUDIENCE:
Degree Bucket’s Target Audience are those seeking information and help in their educational quest; career information and trends. The Degree Bucket consumer can be at any stage in their development and any age.
• OVERALL TARGET DEMO: 16-40.
o High School Students
o Non professional 20’s
o College students either looking to further education or switch majors
o Career Professionals feeling as if they are at a dead end and wish to further their career.

• Degree Bucket is always upbeat, approachable and inspirational.
• Information is timely and relevant.
• Within it’s authenticity, it strives to be realistic without being negative.
PREFERRED COLORS AND THEIR MEANING GUIDE –Always use with Brand CHARACTER AND EMOTIONS in mind. The use of all colors is NOT expected.
• Red – Energetic. Movement and excitement. Suggest use sparingly to accent.
• Orange – Fun times. Associated with Ambition and a new dawn in attitude.
• Yellow – Happiness, optimism and good times
• Black –Authority, Power and Stability/Strength
• Green – Growth, money and a calming color.
• Purple – Associated with wealth, prosperity and sophistication (Royalty). It stimulates Brain activity. Too much can come off as being fake.
• WHITE – a lighter background color is preferred.
