Resumen de Diseño de Logo
The company is called Foreseeable Future. We are looking for a very "sexy" logo that captures the essence of what our company does (see below). We plan to raise money for our company through crowdfunding, so we really need something that catches people's eye and will make a great basis for T-Shirts, Webpage, etc. In addition to just being a super coll looking logo, we want it to capture both the concept described below and, ideally, the social nature of what we are aiming for.
Our Business:
We have developed a proprietary algorithm/mathematical model that allows us to take the volumes of data available about important decisions like buying a house, selecting a college, selecting where to live, deciding at what age to get married, etc and use it to show people the likely outcome of decisions they are considering.
One unique element of the algorithm is that it shows the impact of a decision on multiple dimensions. For example, there are a ton of calculators on line that tell you "how much house you can afford." These only look at what the mortgage company will allow you to finance. Our algorithms actually show you how more expensive home will also impact you ability to continue to eat out or go to the concerts you love, etc. It also shows you how various home options will impact your future wealth (so, it accounts for both likely appreciation of the home AND how much it inhibits your ability to invest in stocks, etc).
The algorithm starts with getting input from you about what you enjoy. What makes you happy. It then helps you understand how various decisions will impact you predicted future happiness both in the near term and over the next 5, 10, and 20 years.
We are also working on a social aspect of the website where people will be able to post their "happiness" output and use a phone/tablet app that will allow them to input daily decisions (like eating out or eating in) to see how this impacts their overall predicted happiness score.

The vast majority of the designs I am receiving are based upon clever ways to display the two F's of Foreseeable Future. Please be aware that we are looking for both an attractive, sexy design AND one that communicates some of the concept of predicting future outcomes with our proprietary algorithm and the volumes of data available on the internet and other sources.

Thank you all for your designs. I believe at this point I have provided feedback on all designs submitted to date. I want to share with all of you three items:
1. We would like our logo to incorporate a crystal ball to capture the idea of predicting the future;
2. We do not want the logo, however, to seem like it is for a fortune teller. This means that the idea of capturing the concept of technology/data (vs mysticism) is being used for our predictions.
3. A bonus would be capturing the idea that Forseeable Future will help people achieve their goals/happiness
