Resumen de Diseño de Logo

We are looking for a polished, professional logo that will stand out but not be too "cheesy". Clean, not cute. Not too complicated while remaining noticeable.

We would like a logo design with the entire word "Veriant" spelled out, accompanied by a badge/emblem with only the "V" for merchandise branding and such.

Something catchy but classic, that will stand the test of time but not look generic. If you could picture it representing a bank, a not-so-stuffy law firm or an upscale luxury car company we are in the right ballpark, but creativity outside that realm is also welcome.

Our company name is derived from the latin word veritas, so while not necessarily required, style tie-ins and slightly abstract designs are ok as long as they stay polished and professional.

• Color should be similar to the uploaded image, which is our current logo. We also like the color gradient, which is gradual from deeper blue/indigo to lighter. Subtle shade difference not dramatic.
  
  Capital V at least. All letters can be in caps as well, but definitely no all lower case designs.
  
  No designs taken from current popular brands. If it's similar enough we notice it right away it won't work for us.

• Not overly complicated or graphicky. Clean lines and extras are fine, but not required.
