Resumen de Diseño de Logo

I need a professional but contemporary logo. I also need a symbol for the logo. It is a new web-based company that provides online Accounting training courses and a profile page for the users. The site will be connecting people and educating them, primarily bringing together accountants, accounting firms, and business owners. The company name is AccountaNet, the site is AccountaNet.com. My existing logo design uses a "swirl" which I really like and would like to incorporate if possible. I also thought gears turning and interlinking would symbolize the connecting of poeple and business part. Or maybe an "a" which turns into a swirl would be good for the button logo and the full logo could have AccountaNet and the swirl. The company's slogan is "Connect - Learn - Accounting". I am open to ideas and creativity! This is a fun site, stay away from the accountant stereotype! I would like the colors to be Blues and Oranges. Thank you!!
