Resumen de Diseño de Logo

We do inspections for both homes and commercial bldgs, but the "home" inspection is the majority of our business. We want the logo to be directed not at only the home buyer but the realtors too.

Logo will be used on clothing as well as on all print materials, social media and website.

We currently have red, white, blue and black in our logo. Logo should look good monochromatic or a variation of.

We are located in the panhandle of Florida in a large military community (hence the "Defense" in our name), but I do not want a complicated logo or for it to be directed only at the military. We have used shields and ribbon in our current logo and are open to still using those, but would prefer to see new ideas. Also, I do not want all the logos to have a house or roof top in them, UNLESS there is a very unique design based around it. As the roof top is too overused.

I would like the logo to not be too wide (it is now with the ribbon). I would like there to be a symbol that will stand alone and be recognized without our name printed next to it.

I do have a few samples of logos I have seen that I like the idea behind them and can share those with you. I've have attached two files. The one is our current logo and the other is one that I like the design of, as the picture could stand alone without the name wrapped. It's clean and looks good monochromatic too.
