A small internationally known contemplative spiritual organization seeks the services of a expert graphic designer, preferably with experience in book jacket design, to assist the organization in repackaging a series of six books that already sell in the market place. The new book jacket design, will carry a more contemporary theme reflective of some of the extremely popular bestsellers on spirituality & self-improvement such as "The Secret and Blink".

For this project, we would like the artist to create a book jacket using Sanskrit graphics (see attached) in the background. We will ask that they look at the book jacket, “The Secret” to see an example of a jacket that we like. We are hoping for a similar look through the use of the Sanskrit lettering in the background. Please note on the book jacket of the Secret, the words float off the page, the seal also seem elevated and there seems to be an aura illuminating the cover. We really like this kind of three-dimensional affect.

We would also like for you to consider a way to identify this as the first book in a series on the front of the cover and on the spine of the book so that when it sits on the shelf as a series, the reader can see (perhaps using a color code) them as a series.

Terms to help you understand the cultural context of the books include:
Consciousness, Meditation, Spiritual, Tantric, Eastern, Shiva, Yoga, Enlightenment, Wisdom, Self-Realization, Self-Improvement, Self-Actualization…

Please note that we like serif font, would like to stay away from San Serif for this project. Also please note there are diacritical marks in the title.
