Resumen de Diseño de Póster

Job Outline: Poster promoting our new trading engine solution. It will be presented at a Trade Exhibition. The poster must be able to accomodate 3 different versions of content.

Requirements:
- Output: 90cm x 200cm
- Language: English text.
- Target audience: market participants and financial institutions (i.e.: brokers and retail banks).
- Style: Business-focused.

Our only requirements concern the text content of the posters. We give free reign on the graphics and visual style, but there should be consistency between them. The poster design must be able to accomodate the following 3 versions of content.

Poster 1 – “why does the Orion platform matter to retail clients?”
Style: True to life
Main Purpose: to draw audience’s attention
Main Messages: To build and bridge the gap between - ‘change and influence’; ‘high-end and low-end’

Poster 2 – “fast data stream x superior trading engine = next generation trading solution”
Style: Scientific
Main Purpose: to propose a solution to address audience’s concern
Main Messages: Integration; α is greater than 0; Truth;

Poster 3 – our company logo and the name of the new trading engine solution – “iOMS”
Style: Impressive
Main Purpose: to leave the impression for where the audience can get what they need
Main Messages: exude a progressive-financial feel

At the exhibition, the posters will be placed on the far-wall inside the booth.

We would also greatly appreciate it if the posters could be easily resized onto smaller vertical banners measuring 780mm x 2000 mm and 980mm x 2060 mm. These "easy-banners" will be placed around the exhibition grounds.

We have built a new trading engine solution platform. The key advantages of our new platform are significantly faster speeds for both data feeds and trading systems.

We want to convey that we have a powerful trading engine solution that boasts the following core advantages:
Fast streaming data feed = providing live market updates.
Fast trading system = faster order processing ability.

A data feed is used to collect data from the financial market. The two forms of data feed are “snapshot” and “streaming”. A snapshot feed only provides a static view of the data at a particular time. A streaming (“full tick”) feed can view the data in real-time and track its fluctuations. Our data feed is a fast streaming feed providing the most up-to-the-second information possible. Our point is our engine can take advantage of this through superior handling, compression, batching and integration.

A trading system is used by financial institutions to process trades. Our trading system is able to react faster and take advantage of fast data feeds. The speed at which a trade is processed determines its “position in the queue”. Having a better position in the queue is advantageous, as the trade will be handled earlier than the one behind. Assuming two trading systems receive the same market data simultaneously, the faster trading system will be able to process it quicker and gain a better position in the queue. Our system can execute an order in a matter of milliseconds.

For example, take an automated buy/sell order for a share. Our fast streaming data feed can monitor the share price in real-time. When the price meets the order level, our fast trading system will then process the trade quicker than its competitors, resulting in a better position in the queue for trading.
